According to a witness, the mother of Davis was at the complex during the shooting incident. When she heard gunshots she immediately runs outside and saw her son lying on the ground and bleeding severely. She immediately provided first aid on her son. Some bystanders called the emergency numbers. She tried to apply pressure on the wound to lessen the bleeding. Paramedics arrived in the area and continued with the treatment.
