We proudly offer one of the most popular and comprehensive CPR level’s for lay rescuers. CPR level “C” teaches candidates CPR techniques for victims of all ages (adults, infants and children). Participants will also learn to do CPR with patients having complications (chocking, etc.) and with the use of automated external defibrillators. All candidates that successfully pass this course will receive a workplace and academic approved CPR level “C” certificate that meets a number of different certification requirements. The length of CPR “C” depends on the skill level, size and learning speed of the class. Typically the course is from 5 to 6 hours. Candidates must attend 100% of the course to pass.

Candidates enrolled in this course will learn CPR and AED techniques for adults, infants and children. Participants will also cover basic cardiovascular emergencies, legal aspects of doing CPR, personal protective equipment, glove removal, scene assessment and basic information about EMS.

Most candidates complete the CPR “C” course with ease. Upon completion candidates will receive a workplace and academic CPR certificate that meets a number of certification requirements and standards. All certificates are valid for 3 years. Kelowna First Aid also offers re-certification courses for this CPR level. We have a no “pressure” policy that states that if you do not complete the course the first time you will be eligible to retake the course at no extra cost.
