First of all, I am writing this review completely voluntarily and from the bottom of my heart. No one asked me to write it. I simply wanted to share how grateful I am for Shannon. I took a First Aid course last week and needed more practice with CPR, so I decided to take the course again. At first, I wondered if retaking it was really necessary since I had just completed the course. But after meeting Shannon for the first time and taking her class, I completely changed my mind. I am so glad I decided to retake it. Shannon has an incredible ability to make difficult things easy to understand. She explained everything so clearly, demonstrated the hands-on skills for us, and gave us plenty of opportunities to practice. Most importantly, we were already lacking confidence, but Shannon continuously encouraged us with such warmth and kindness. Because of her encouragement, we didn’t give up and were able to finish the course with much more confidence. I took the course with my teenage son because I wanted us to be able to protect and help each other in an emergency. Thanks to Shannon, my son learned so much and became confident in practicing the emergency procedures. Even my son agreed that Shannon was an amazing instructor! The process of arranging a weekend retake wasn’t easy, but the Kelowna staff helped us find a weekend class, and we were able to successfully complete our certification. I feel incredibly lucky that this experience led me to Shannon. Her passion, warmth, and exceptional teaching ability made such a difference to both my son and me. I truly respect and appreciate you, Shannon. When it’s time to renew our certification in three years, I would absolutely love to learn from you again. ❤️
