We’re proud to offer a one-day Emergency Childcare First Aid, CPR, and AED training course at our Kelowna training center. Designed for individuals working in the childcare and daycare industry, this comprehensive course provides essential life-saving skills in just one day. Offered three times per week, the course runs for 8 hours and includes a detailed training manual. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a nationally recognized certification, valid for 3 years throughout British Columbia. Yes, participants will receive CPR level “B” certification. Participants will learn CPR rescue techniques for victims of all ages.
Yes, the course includes AED training. The use of automated external defibrillators is a mandatory component of all CPR programs.
This course equips participants with essential life-saving skills tailored for childcare settings. You’ll learn how to confidently respond to a wide range of emergencies, including:
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Use
- Respiratory Emergencies (asthma, allergic reactions)
- Circulatory Emergencies (heart attacks, strokes, shock)
- Wound Management (bleeding, burns, and more)
- Sudden Medical Emergencies (seizures, diabetic emergencies)
- Choking Response for Children and Infants
- Fainting and Shock Management
- Proper Wound Care Techniques
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (including gloves and pocket masks)
The Emergency Childcare First Aid course runs for 8 hours. Full attendance is required to successfully complete the program and receive certification.

- Transfer Fees: Transfers requested within 72 hours of the course will incur a $25.00 fee.
- Free Changes: Transfers and refunds requested more than 72 hours before the course are free of charge.
- Rescheduled Events: No refunds are provided for rescheduled courses.
