The driver of gravel truck was given first aid care after hit by a train in southern Alberta. The man was transported to a healthcare facility with minor injuries.
Prompt intervention
The crash occurred at around 3 PM at Township Road 154-A and Range Road 94 in Cypress County. According to a statement by the police, the crossing was impassable as the Canadian Pacific Railway train and its contents were still left on the tracks.
The RCMP were uncertain as to when the area would reopen. The Mounties and the CPR police are still investigating.
