Man involved in shooting incident received CPR

A man who was involved in a shooting incident was given CPR. The man is believed to be in his 20s but died after a shooting in Scarborough.

Shooting ordeal

The emergency crews were called to the area of Danforth Road and Thicketwood Drive, near Eglinton Avenue East at around 4:20 PM after getting reports of the sound of gunshots.

Upon the arrival of the officers at the scene, they discovered a male victim suffering from serious gunshot wounds.

The police stated that the officers delivered CPR until the arrival of the paramedics, but the victim succumbed to his injuries and was later declared dead at the scene. The homicide investigators were identified.
