Calgary paramedics rescue injured man from tree

The fire crews rescued a man after he sustained an injury while pruning a 40-feet tree.

Based on the reports of the Calgary EMS, the incident occurred in the 3600 block of 1^st St. N.W. The bystanders called the emergency crews while the injured man waited for help in the tree.

Kelowna first aid — The man who was in his early 30s was transported to Peter Lougheed to a hospital under a stable and non-life-threatening condition with an injury to the shoulder that was given proper first aid care.

After the firefighters utilizes high-angle apparatus to retrieve the man, he was seen by the paramedics on the scene.
