Calgary paramedics rescue injured man from tree

The fire crews rescued a man after he sustained an injury while pruning a 40-feet tree.

Based on the reports of the Calgary EMS, the incident occurred in the 3600 block of 1st St. N.W. The bystanders called the emergency crews while the injured man waited for help in the tree.

The man who was in his early 30s was transported to Peter Lougheed to a hospital under a stable and non-life-threatening condition with an injury to the shoulder that was given proper first aid care.

After the firefighters utilizes high-angle apparatus to retrieve the man, he was seen by the paramedics on the scene.
