A 26-year old woman was fatally stabbed outside the courthouse. The RCMP is investigating the incident that occurred in Prince George.
According to the Mounties, they received a report of the stabbing around 10 PM and found the woman suffering from at least one stab wound. The officers performed first aid and the woman was transported to a healthcare facility where she died of her injuries.
Prince George RCMP’s serious crime unit was called in to lead the investigation and police state that they are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
The necessity of first aid training
During emergencies, you should be knowledgeable on basic first aid skills. You must enroll in first aid and CPR course to be prepared. You never know when emergencies occur and where.
