Prompt delivery of CPR to an unconscious man

A 40-year old man was found unconscious and given CPR by the paramedics. According to the police in Thunder Bay, a man is dead after being rushed to a healthcare facility when he was found unconscious by a passerby at the south side city park.

The police stated that someone was walking in the area of Kamview Overlook Park and found the 40-year old man unconscious near the benches and called 911.

Timely delivery of CPR

Based on a written release, despite the attempt of the paramedics in delivering CPR and transporting him to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre by ambulance with a police escort, the man was declared dead upon arrival.

The identity of the man has been confirmed and his family has been identified. A spokesperson stated that the force cannot release his identity since the death is still under investigation by the coroner’s officer.
