A parking officer quickly rushed to help a driver who was suffering a heart attack. While on the job, he came across a vehicle that seemed to be stuck in Burnaby. As it turned out, there was a man inside suffering a heart attack.
The parking officer jumped into action, calling 911 and performing CPR until the arrival of the emergency responders.
The man was removed from the vehicle and CPR was started. It was about five minutes until the Burnaby firefighter arrived and took over the scene.
The driver was stabilized and quickly transported to a hospital. There has been no update on his condition.
