Man with traumatic injuries at Scarborough plaza given first aid

A man in his 50s with traumatic injuries was given CPR. The man was found by Toronto police officers with severe trauma at a Scarborough shopping plaza.

According to the police, the paramedics were performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but the man lacked any vital signs when he was loaded into an ambulance.

The police were called to a plaza in the Birchmont Road and Huntingwood Drive area. A detective at the scene informed the reporters that the injuries of the man appear to be self-inflicted.
