Victim of a stabbing ordeal receives timely first aid

A man inside a downtown Kelowna apartment suite sustained a stab wound. He was quickly rushed to a hospital in severe condition. According to the police reports, the 26-year old man who was a resident of Vernon was found at around 11 PM walking along Pandosy Street with significant blood loss.

What happened at the scene?

A witness was able to perform first aid until the arrival of the RCMP officers arrived and a tourniquet was applied on the leg of the man in an attempt to stop the bleeding.

According to the police, the victim was already in a state of losing consciousness and was not able to fully cooperate with the investigators in charge of the scene.

When the initial findings of the scene was revealed, it shows that the assault occured within the apartment complex situated in 1900 block of Pandosy Street. The victim was able to leave the residence to seek help.

The investigators are working out on several leads and hoping to gain more relevant information related to the ordeal.
