An 8-year old Nathan Rugge saved a life by performing CPR. He remembers what he did the day he and his father Justin helped save a life.
Saving a life
Back in October 2017, they had come to Lochdale Community School in North Burnaby to retrieve a soccer ball. When they got out of the vehicle, a man approached and was asking for help in which his friend seems to be in distress.
The man needed assistance was around the back of the school, in a somewhat hidden location. Justin called 911 and initiated CPR while Nathan who was just 6 years old, went on his own to guide the emergency crews to the spot. The location of the man could not be seen from the street. Without Nathan’s help, they would not be found at all.
With the help of Nathan guiding the emergency crews and quick response, the man survived.
Being prepared
