Face masks to become mandatory at Manitoba Liquor Mart locations

The Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries (MBLL) stated that customers need to wear face masks while inside its Liquor Mart locations, Casinos of Winnipeg, or the Shark Club Gaming Centre.

This comes only a month after the Crown corporation announced Liquor Mart employees would start wearing face masks while on the job, and a week after the City of Winnipeg itself made face coverings mandatory in all city facilities and buses.

Based on a media release, since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries has made every effort to keep retail stores and casinos safe for the employees and customers.

Additionally, face masks will not replace physical distancing requirements and remind people to keep two meters of distance from others and not visit the stores if any symptoms are present or self-isolating.
