A man who just moved to Canada saved the life of a Regina resident who was drowning. The incident occurred at Buffalo Pound Provincial Park.
He was at the park with friends for a barbeque. They heard a woman shouting for help and ran to the beach. When they got there, they saw two men in the water, in drastic need of help. Mohamed Elzeldin Mohamed and his friends sprang into action.
The friends were successful in saving one of the men, who was still kicking when they got there, but the other one was already presumed dead. The 35-year old from Regina was tangled up in a net and could not get his legs out. By the time the friends go the first man to shore with the help of someone on a jet ski, the second man had sunk below the surface.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a life-saving skill that can save a life. It is recommended to enroll in a first aid course to be prepared in case of emergencies.
