This workplace approved course is specifically designed for candidates that want to renew previously acquired emergency first aid awards. This course costs less and is shorter than an original emergency first aid course. CPR recertification is included in this course and candidates can opt for either CPR “A” or “C” renewal with the class. The certificate awarded for this course is of equal value to the original certificate candidates acquire. Prior to registering candidates must meet the prerequisite requirements listed below. Registration Requirements
In order to be eligible for emergency first aid recertification through Kelowna First Aid candidates must:
- Have completed a emergency first aid course (or renewal / re-cert course) through a credible Canadian provider such as the Heart and Stroke Foundation, St. Johns Ambulance, St Mark James Training or Lifesaving Society of Canada. If you have completed this course through another provider, not listed above, please contact us prior to registering for a recertification.
- Have completed the previous emergency first course (or renewal / re-cert course) within the past 3 years.

Recertification Cost
The cost of an emergency first aid and CPR “A” recertification course is $69.99. Emergency Childcare Recert will be Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat.
Certification
Candidates that meet the skills and exam standards for the course immediately receive an emergency first aid and CPR recertification certificate. This certificate meets several government, employment and academic standards. This certificate is of equal value to the certificate earned from taking a full course.

Refunds and Transfers
