This CPR Level A Certification Course in Kelowna BC takes approximately 4 hours to complete and teaches candidates basic CPR skills for rescuing adult victims. Most participants complete the course fairly quickly and immediately receive a workplace-approved CPR level A certificate. This certificate meets a number of academic and workplace requirements (check with your employer to ensure you are registering for the correct course). Course Length and Cost

The length of a CPR  A course is 3 to 4 hours. The cost of the course is 48.99. The main focus of this course is adult CPR as well as victim and scene management.

Course Content

Candidates will learn CPR techniques for adult victims. Candidates will also learn about legal issues pertaining to CPR and how to utilize an automatic external defibrillator. This course also includes knowledge in the use of personal protective equipment, choking emergencies, and cardiovascular emergencies such as heart attacks.

Certification for CPR level A Certification Course in Kelowna BC

Over 99% of our candidates complete the program without any difficulty. Participants that do complete the program will immediately receive a workplace-approved CPR level A and AED certificate that is valid for 3 years. We have a “no pressure” policy that states that if you do not complete the course the first time you will be able to re-take the course at no additional cost.

Private Courses and Recertifications

Kelowna First Aid proudly offers private CPR level  A courses in which the instructor can come to you or to your business. Candidates must retake the course to renew their certification

Refunds, Transfer and Cancellations:

Refunds are not accepted within 72 hours of the original course. Transfers within 72 hours are charged 25 dollars. Candidates that request a refund or transfer prior to 72 hours of the original course registered will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for rescheduled events.
