Woman awakened by gunshot through bedroom wall

A Radisson Heights resident was rudely awakened early morning by sounds of gunfire. She woke up and discovered a hole in her bedroom wall.

The police received a call to a fourplex in the 2700 block of 10th Avenue S.E. Upon the arrival of the police, they discovered that the shot originated from an adjacent unit in the building.

If an individual sustains a gunshot wound, it requires immediate first aid care to control the bleeding.

The officers ordered the occupants of that unit to go out and taken them under custody. According to the police, when they were taking one of the 2 men into custody, one was in the possession of a magazine for a pistol.

The police are continuing with the investigation and expect to execute a search warrant on the house later this morning.
