A woman helping the car crash victims lost her phone. A Vancouver Island woman hopes that her phone would be returned after it was stolen while helping in a car crash in front of her home over the weekend.
Unexpected loss during a rescue
Based on the reports of RCMP, Anne Marie Behan was at home listening to Christmas music when she heard a loud crash and people outside the front window were screaming. She ran outside and immediately delivered first aid measures. She placed her phone on the hood of a vehicle while assisting an injured man until the paramedics arrived and transported him to a healthcare facility.
It was later that she realized that her phone was missing and after searching the area, it could not be found.
Behan was upset since she considers her phone as her lifeline. The phone keeps her connected to her daughter and her work. Sadly, she does not have extra money to replace it.
