Quebec health experts call on the province to make face masks mandatory

A group of about 30 doctors and health experts are calling on the Quebec government to make face masks mandatory for people over 12 years old in closed and crowded public spaces.

Experts believe the measure would help limit the number of COVID-19 cases and avoid a potential second wave of cases.

The province has so far only recommended that people wear face masks in public. So has the Canadian government.
