Baby saved with timely delivery of CPR

A Saskatoon man who saved the life of a 19-month old girl with CPR was recognized. Aaron Jackson was driving along Arlington Avenue to the grocery store when someone flagged him down. In a nearby driveway, a woman was holding a choking baby.

Saving the life of an infant

It was only a month since his employer required him to take a 2-day first aid course. Jackson performed CPR, allowing the child to breathe again. He stabilized the child and waited for the arrival of the paramedics.

According to Jackson, he heard someone crying for help and he knew that he had to help. Anybody with training would do the same thing.
