Victim of an apartment fire receives CPR

A man received CPR after an apartment fire. The man has life-threatening injuries after a fire in an apartment building on Walnut Street in London.

The emergency responders were called to the building at 85 Walnut Street over the noon hour. A neighbor noticed smoke coming out the door of a unit on the second floor and called 911. The crews broke down the door to gain access.

A neighbor informed CTV News that she saw firefighters pull a man from the unit and performed CPR before he was rushed to a healthcare facility. The complex is operated by London Middlesex Community Housing.
