To register for a Standard First Aid recertification class, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Valid Certification from an Approved Canadian Provider: Your previous certificate must have been issued by a recognized Canadian training organization such as St. Mark James Training, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lifesaving Society, or St. John Ambulance. If your certificate was issued by another provider, please contact us to confirm its eligibility.
• Certificate Validity: The previous certificate must have been issued within the past three years. If your certification has expired beyond this period, you’ll need to retake the full Standard First Aid course.

Candidates who do not meet these prerequisites are not eligible for recertification and must enroll in the full certification course. If you have any questions or need clarification, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Please bring your previous Standard First Aid certification to present to your instructor on the day of your course.

• Duration: Approximately 8 hours (as mandated by provincial regulations)
• Attendance: 100% attendance is required to successfully complete the course

Upon successful completion of the skills assessment and multiple-choice exam, participants will receive a Standard First Aid and CPR certificate valid for three years. This course includes CPR Level C recertification by default, but participants also have the option to recertify with CPR Level HCP. Simply choose your preferred CPR level when selecting your course date and time from the options below.

Private recertification courses are available for individuals, groups, and businesses. We can host your session at our training facility or send an instructor to your location. • Within 72 hours of the course: Refunds are not available. Transfers to another course date are subject to a $25.00 fee.
• More than 72 hours before the course: Participants are eligible for a full refund or a transfer to a different date at no additional cost.
• Rescheduled Events: No refunds are available for rescheduled courses.

Students are strongly advised to check with their employer prior to enrollment to ensure the certification meets their requirements.
