Police investigate an afternoon shooting

According to the Abbotsford police, they are investigating reports of an afternoon shooting. It has been confirmed by the force that it is investigating a call of shots fired at the intersection of Ross and Simpson roads.

According to a witness, he was driving home on Ross Road when he saw someone lying on the ground, surrounded by blood. The man had a gunshot wound to the head. The witness started performing CPR on the injured man until the arrival of the emergency crews.

The Abbotsford police have yet to release further details about the investigation.
