Man involved in a fatal stabbing ordeal

The police charged a 36-year-old man with first-degree murder after a stabbing incident with a 31-year-old woman.

The Toronto Police were called to the area of Bloor Street West and Shaw Street, west of Christie Pits Park, just after 5 PM. According to the investigators, the man and woman were fighting at a business in the area.

Officers responding to the scene found the woman without vital signs and the man suffering from serious injuries. The man was rushed to a trauma center and expected to survive.

The paramedics performed CPR on the woman at the scene but were unable to restore a pulse. At around 6:20 PM, it was confirmed by the police that the woman succumbed to her injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
