We proudly feature St Mark James Training recertification courses. These Recertifications Courses in Kelowna are designed for participants that need to renew expiring certificates. Candidates must meet the required prerequisites prior to registering for a recertification course (requirements are stated below). Certificates obtained from a recertification course are of equal value to certificates receive from a full course. St Mark James renewal courses meet Health Canada standards and meet government and legislative requirements for first aid and CPR training. Kelowna First Aid proudly offers the lowest prices for renewals and recertifications and  offers the largest amount and variety of courses (at least two recertification courses per week). Prerequisites for Recertifications Courses in Kelowna
To be eligible for a recertification course candidates must meet several simple requirements. Candidates must have completed a renewal / recert course or a full course within the past 3 years. The course must have been completed in Canada as international certificates are not valid in Canada. Participants must have complete the previous course with a credible provider such as St Mark James Training, Lifesaving Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation. If candidates do not meet all of these requirements he or she must re-take the full course.
Recertification Length
The length of time for each recertification course varies on the level of certification, the candidates in the course and ultimately the instructor. Recertification courses vary in length from 3 to 8 hours depending on the type of course.
Available Workplace Approved Recertifications Courses in Kelowna:

The following workplace-approved awards are available for recertification. Awards not mentioned below are not available for recertification and candidates must re-take the course:
- Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED Course in Kelowna – Standard First Aid Recerts cost $99.99 and take 6 to 8 hours to complete.
- CPR for Health Care Providers (CPR HCP) / BLS and AED. – CPR HCP / BLS recerts cost $64.99 and take 4 hours to complete.
- CPR level C and AED. – CPR level C recerts cost $57.99 and take 3 to 4 hours to complete.
Additional Notes:
- Please remember to bring previous certification award to show to your instructor.
- No re-certifications are available for emergency childcare first aid or CPR level “A” or “B”.
Workplace Approved Recertification Award
Candidates that successfully complete the course will receive a workplace approved certificate that is valid for 3 years except for the CPR HCP recertification course certificate because it is only valid for one year. This wallet sized award meet Health Canada and other legislative and workplace standards. Certificate is nationally accredited and is valid throughout Canada. Candidates can opt for a lager “wall mount” certificate for a small additional cost (1.00 dollar).
