Health care provider CPR (CPR HCP) is the most comprehensive CPR course available. Candidates that have previously received this certificate can re-certify this award through Kelowna First Aid. This specific CPR HCP Recertification Course in Kelowna is for CPR HCP and AED recertification and does not include any first aid recertification (it can be partnered with standard first aid via the standard first aid recertification page). CPR HCP renewals take approximately 4 to 5 hours to complete and successful candidates receive a recertification certificate that meets the same certification standards as the original award. Prerequisites for CPR HCP Recertification Course in Kelowna

Participants must meet the following two prerequisites to be eligible for a workplace approved CPR HCP recertification course through Kelowna First Aid:

  • Candidates must have completed the previous CPR HCP certification course within Canada and through a credible provider. Examples of credible providers include the St Mark James Training, Heart and Stroke Foundation, and the Lifesaving Society.
  • Candidates must have completed the previous CPR HCP certification course within the past 3 years.

If candidates do not meet these requirements they must re-take the full CPR HCP certification course in Kelowna. 100% attendance is required to pass this course.

Certification of CPR HCP Recertification Course in Kelowna

Candidates that complete the course will receive a CPR HCP certificate. This certificate is valid for 1 year and meets a number of academic, workplace and government standards.

Course Details

The cost of the recertification course is 47.99 and takes approximately 4 to 5 hours to complete. Kelowna First Aid proudly offers the lowest prices in the Kelowna region. Course times are set and mandated by provincial regulations. Candidates will review all of the material covered in the original course but in a condensed format with focus on changes to standards and weak areas.

Refunds and Transfers

Refunds are not processed for registered participants within 72 hours of the course.  Reschedules requested within 72 hours are charged $25.00. Prior to 72 hours of the course participants can reschedule or receive a refund at no extra cost.
