Individuals that need certification to work in the food service industry can enrol in our food safe level 1 or food safe level 2 courses in Kelowna. Certifications provided through these courses meet the requirements of the regional health authorities. Certification is valid in B.C. and throughout Canada for 5 years. We provide these courses at our comfortable and conveniently located training centres. Length of the Course?
Food Safe Level 1 is a one day course that takes approximately 8 hours to complete. Food safe level 2 is a two day course that requires participants to have a current food safe level 1 award to attend.
Who Needs food Safe Certification?
Individuals that work in the food handling, sanitation and serving industry may be required to take this course. Service workers that may be required to take this course include cooks, bussers, dishwashers, servers, hostesses, chefs, and deli workers.
